On arrival at Marrakech airport, our driver will be waiting with a sign bearing your name to welcome you with Moroccan hospitality.

From there, we'll transfer you comfortably to your accommodation..

Overnight in Marrakech.

After a relaxing breakfast, we'll take a fascinating guided tour of Marrakech..

We begin with a tour of the majestic Koutoubia, whose tower is the twin sister of Seville's Giralda..

We'll also visit the Médersa Ben Youssef, a Koranic school of Merinid origin dating from the mid-14th century, and the Musée de Marrakech, housed in the palace of a minister of the Sultan in the late 19th century..

We then visit the splendid Palacio de la Bahía, built in the late 19th century by a vizier in honour of one of his favourites..

This magnificent palace, with its exquisite courtyards and gardens, is an example of the refinement and elegance of Moroccan architecture..

We'll end the day at the emblematic Jemaa el-Fna Square, which is transformed at dusk into a spectacle unlike any other in the world..

In this vibrant space, the most unusual characters take center stage: storytellers, snake charmers, soothsayers, healers, henna tattoo artists, fakirs, acrobats, musicians, boxers and all manner of entertainers..

After breakfast, we begin our journey by crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m), gateway to the desert..

We'll stop to admire the spectacular views before continuing on to Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive adobe fortress declared a World Heritage Site and the setting for films such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia..

After free time in Ait Ben Haddou and a (free) lunch, we continue on to Ouarzazate, a town famous for its military history, palm groves and importance in the film industry..

From here, we travel along the mythical Route des Kasbahs, ancient fortresses that protected desert caravans..

Our route takes us to Dadès, a charming Berber enclave surrounded by spectacular scenery..

Dinner and overnight in Dades

After breakfast at the Kasbah and check-out, we return to the Route des Kasbahs, crossing Kalaa Megouna and Tinerghir to reach the impressive Gorges du Todra, where we can admire the lush palm groves that bring freshness to this arid landscape..

After a free lunch en route, we'll continue on to Merzouga, where we'll change our vehicle for a 4×4 to head deeper into the desert and reach the khaimas (nomad tents) camp..

We'll enjoy a camel ride across the majestic dunes at sunset before returning to camp, where we'll have time to relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under a starry sky..

The evening is rounded off by a campfire and the bewitching rhythm of Berber drums..

After breakfast in Merzouga, we embark on a magical camel ride through the imposing dunes, letting the desert landscape envelop us in its serenity..

We then drive to Fez, the oldest of Morocco's Imperial Cities..

Founded in the 8th century, Fez is also one of the country's first Islamic holy cities and home to one of the world's oldest universities..

On the way, we cross the Middle and High Atlas mountains, making several stops to admire the beauty of the landscape..

If we're lucky, in Azrou we may catch a glimpse of the famous Atlas monkeys, who live in the wild and can sometimes be seen among the hundred-year-old cedars..

We'll start with a panoramic view of the city, including the Merinid Tombs, from where we'll get a spectacular view of the city..

We will then head for Fez el-Jedid, where we will stroll through the Place des Alaouites and contemplate the exteriors of the Royal Palace and Dar el Makhzen..

Our exploration continues on foot through Fez el-Bali, the oldest and most fascinating medina in the world..

We visit the Attarin spice souk and the Jenna souk, before arriving at Nejjarin Square, home to the iconic Foundouk Nejjarin..

We'll pass by the historic Bou Inania medersa and continue on to Place Es Seffarin, where the sounds of copper smiths can be heard..
